Dental implants are artificial tooth roots. A dental implant functions the same way as the patients’ own root, since it directly fuses with the bone. Implants anchor dentures, e.g. bridges, crowns or removable dentures securely to the bone.

Social projects

The clinic supports social and humanitarian projects in addition to their medical and scientific activity. For more details, see science and research.

Wrinkle Treatment

Outstanding results can be achieved with anti-wrinkle injections. Depending on the application, transplantations of your own skin or fat injections can be applied.

Especially with wrinkles in the forehead and eyes, the treatment with Botulinum toxin A is a good alternative. Botox is injected with a fine needle into specific single muscle groups. This poison usually visibly paralyzes and smoothens out the muscles of the forehead. The effect occurs only after a few days and last about 6 months.

The facial muscles in the treated area remain numb for six months. The treatment effect develops within a few days and last about a half a year.

Injections with autologous material

The removal and subsequent transplantation of the patient’s own tissues are usually done in one single operation. The result is immediately visible, and the treated area may exhibit slight swelling, which disappears within one day.

With injections using autologous material, swellings usually occur less frequently as opposed to using artificial materials such as collagen. Typical application areas for wrinkle injections are forehead wrinkles, frown lines between the eyebrows, crow's feet, nasolabial folds and wrinkles around the mouth.

Injections are usually administered, using body identical substances, such as collagen or hyaluronic acid, which the body can break down independently at different rates.

Suitable skin for transplantations can usually be found in dermis for example buttocks and back.

Nerves may be injured and could cause unnatural facial expressions and especially Botulinum toxin A treatments can cause unwanted muscle paralysis that could result in drooping eyelids or eyebrows.

So-called "liver" (age) spots and fine wrinkles can be treated with a laser. Before surgery, the type of lesion needs to be examined to rule out skin cancer.

The oral and maxillofacial surgeon can correct irregular skin with fine wrinkles or sun acne scars, utilizing various lasers (laser skin resurfacing). Using this method, the upper layers of damaged skin will be removed carefully to the thousandth of a millimeter, so that younger and smoother skin can develop. At the same time, the collagen fibers in the deeper layers of skin are getting stimulated in order to regenerate.

Fine facial wrinkles, such as around the mouth, medical or mechanical peeling of the skin area sanding (dermabrasion) is available.
